African Relief Agency provided food package (including 1 bag of rice/sugar/flour/dates and food oil) during the month of Ramadan on the 5th of June 2019 to the 120 families who were affected by the drought in 2017.

These families’ are scattered on the outskirts of the city of Burco in area called Guryo-Samo which they settled in after losing their livestock, which was their only source of food and income, they live a life of poverty, and poor living conditions such no proper shelter, no water, toilets facilities and shortages of food.

Money spent on food packages was $ 7800. We are thankful to those who contributed to the appeal and helped suffering people in the holy month of Ramadan
