About Us

Our History :

We are an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded in the UK in 2010 by a group of concerned Somali diaspora. We work to help those in need and hardship and save lives in the horn of Africa.

What we do :

• We help of vulnerable communities by providing basic necessities such as a food and water to which is sometimes hard to get in some area of the horn of Africa,
• We help children in rural areas access education by building class rooms and recruiting teachers to teach how to read and write
• We provide water by digging wells so that  people and their livestock can drink and survive, in 2017 60% to 85% of the livestock in Somaliland  diminished due to long drought  season , people rely mainly on rain and therefore it become crucial to look at other sources of water

African Relief Agency works hard to relief suffering, hunger, Thrust, illiteracy and diseases in the horn of Africa without regard to colour, race or creed and to provide aid in a compassionate and dignified manner .African Relief Agency ultimate goal is to help people to help them self’s and become independent of external assistance, we believe engaging people and making them participate to help others a key challenge which needs a lot of efforts and commitment and that is a great thing to do which always make us strive to continue doing what we are doing.

Is having the compassion and commitment of helping others who are less fortunate and suffering , we believe that every help counts whether is big or a small because at the end it puts a smile on the face of a human being who are in need.
